    HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY, MAYOR BRAMSON!
    Dear Friends,
Sunday, December 13th is Mayor Noam Bramson’s 40th birthday. To celebrate the occasion, we are
planning a party for friends and supporters. This event, a champagne brunch, will also serve as Noam’s first major
fund-raiser in more than three years.
I am writing today to invite you to join the Host Committee for this celebration.
We can all agree that Noam has been an exceptional mayor, with a record of impressive achievement on
priorities such as economic development, environmental sustainability, and community planning. Today, at a time
of particularly difficult economic and budgetary challenges, Noam’s thoughtful and responsive leadership inspires
confidence throughout our city. He has earned our trust and enthusiastic support.
Host Committee Membership does not require any financial commitment. Members receive an honorary
listing in the brunch invitation and are simply asked to encourage friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to
attend. This modest form of participation goes a long way to guarantee the event’s success.
However, if you are comfortable doing more, then please consider joining the Host Committee at the level
of Chair, Vice Chair or Director, by agreeing to give or raise a specific amount. (Contribution levels for Host
Committee leadership are indicated on the enclosed sign-up form.) Whatever the level of involvement you choose,
we will be sincerely thankful for your help.*
Finally, to acknowledge the difficult economic climate and its impact on so many families, Noam has asked
that we link his birthday celebration to community service. We are currently working with the Volunteer Center of
the United Way on this effort, and it is likely that we will provide supporters with the option of allocating a portion
of their financial contribution to a charitable cause, or of pledging some other form of assistance to a worthwhile
community goal. More details on this will follow as we complete our planning.
If you share my admiration and affection for Noam, as well as my enthusiasm for his public service, then
please take a moment to fill a host committee sign-up form and return it to me by post or email. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at 914-263-xxxx or by email at xxxx@aol.com.
Noam and his campaign team are deeply grateful for your friendship. We look forward to celebrating a
happy milestone in Noam’s life and to working together as he leads New Rochelle through a period of
unprecedented challenge and opportunity. Don’t forget to mark December 13th, from noon to 2:30pm, on your
    calendar and save the date!
    Warmest regards,
    Leslie Molinoff
    Finance Director

    1. Ooops
I thought this had been posted by Leslie Molinoff to promote the event. She informs me otherwise. I posted it here and copied and paste this as a blog post so readers can sort it out for themselves. I did redact the phone and email contact information for Leslie Molinoff.

    2. Open to the public – Yeah Baby
Let’s All get in on this gravy train . Come sit atop the high hills as we watch New Rochelle burn . Nero would be proud . Everyone come join me as we rub elbows with those who have worked our fingers to the bone to pay for their grandiose ideas . This is the perfect time for the citizens to let themselves be heard as they indulge in wine and brie .
