The New Rochelle Thanksgiving Day Parade kicked off today at North Avenue and Eastchester Road at 10:00 AM. Santa Claus was on hand.

The parade route ran down North Avenue to Main Street, and then turned right onto Main Street and ended by Maple Avenue. The reviewing stand was located on Main Street near Memorial Plaza.

  1. What Happened?
I had a family commitment in New Jersey today and had to miss the parade.

Can folks fill me on what happened?

Thanks to Jennifer Parente and John D for the photos. I have added the slide show to the post. Any other readers with photos please send them along.

It was fantastic. Proud of our firefighters who came out when it counted. We need to get behind these good people and our police as well. Nice coverage by TOTS as well.

I’m looking forward to seeing the Mayor and council walking by the smoke shop that sells crack pipes in the window, maybe you can get them to pose in front of the one on church st after the parade while you at it.
