At a press conference this week, Detective Captain Joseph Schaller of the New Rochelle Police Department was joined by Sgt. Peter DiSpagna of the Stamford Police Department and Rob Keller of New York State Crime Stoppers.
DiSpagna described the woman as "Very cool and smart". He said she had a cover story at the ready -- that she was lost and looking for the bathroom -- and had a good understanding of human nature which enabled to quickly enter and exit the buildings, find keys, open safes and otherwise get in and out quickly and without detection.
