NRPD Commissioner Award and NRPD Promotions

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — In recognition of his distinguished accomplishments spanning five decades, New Rochelle Police Department Commissioner Patrick J. Carroll has received the 2015 Leadership Award from PERF (Police Executive Research Forum). This national award is given annually to a police executive in recognition of their significant contributions to departments around the world.  Commissioner Carroll joined the New Rochelle Police Department in 1993 after an illustrious career in the New York Police Department. During his tenure with the City of New Rochelle he has promoted innovations in both technology and community policing, resulting in a drop in the City’s Part 1 crime rates to historic fifty year lows. The New Rochelle Police Department under his leadership has received the prestigious IACP’s (International Association of Chiefs of Police) Webber Seavey Award for Quality in Law Enforcement in 2005 and the IACP/Cisco Community Policing Award in 2011.
