NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If you haven’t taken a spin on the Dragon Coaster yet this summer or if the little ones are begging for another trip to Kiddyland, it’s a great time to head over to Playland Park in Rye on Sunday, August 3, to celebrate International Friendship Day. It’s a great way to share a fun-filled day with friends – and family!

Playland “friends” from Radio Disney, News 12 and “Scared by the Sound” Halloween attraction, will be on hand with various activities and giveaways in the park throughout the day. Receive a free friendship bracelet from Playland (while supplies last), and stick around for a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the evening sky at 9:30 p.m.

As an added bonus on International Friendship Day, the park is offering a $15 rides admission special for the entire day, along with extended hours from noon through 11 p.m. Parking is $7 on Sundays.

Playland Park is located on Playland Parkway in Rye. Go to ryeplayland.org or call
