NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- A long-time school security guard at Albert Leonard Middle School was taken out of the school on a stretch after going into distress while on duty.
New Rochelle Firefighters, Police and Trans-Care Ambulance responded to the scene at about 9:25 a.m.
The woman was alert as she was removed from the building on a stretcher. She was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center.
The woman has is a popular figure at the school and there is great concern for her welfare among staff.
