Private Fundraiser Nets $50,000 for Mariano Rivera Foundation to Rehab New Rochelle's North Avenue Church

Mo and Michael Mahoney President and CEO of UHY Advisors NY Michael Mahoney hosted legendary closer Mariano Rivera at a private fundraiser at Siro’s in Manhattan on Thursday, January 31.

The event raised more than $50,000 for the Mariano Rivera Foundation to assist in the rehabilitation of the historic North Avenue Church in nearby New Rochelle, which will feature a food pantry, daycare center and after-school programming.

UHY hosted the all-time Major League Baseball saves leader just days before Rivera, a 12-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, heads south for spring training and the start of his 19th season in New York.
