Private Fundraiser Nets $50,000 for Mariano Rivera Foundation to Rehab New Rochelle's North Avenue Church

The event raised more than $50,000 for the Mariano Rivera Foundation to assist in the rehabilitation of the historic North Avenue Church in nearby New Rochelle, which will feature a food pantry, daycare center and after-school programming.

UHY hosted the all-time Major League Baseball saves leader just days before Rivera, a 12-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, heads south for spring training and the start of his 19th season in New York.
