WASHINGTON, DC -- Richard St. Paul, a prominent New York-based Attorney and National TV Legal Analyst, will host a panel discussion entitled "Israel and the African American Community" at the upcoming AIPAC Conference to be held on March 26 in Washington, DC.

St. Paul, a former elected official in Westchester County, NY, appears regularly as a commentator on legal affairs and current events both nationally, on Fox News Channel, and regionally, on Verizon FioS, among other media outlets. He has worked in the Executive Branch under Republican and Democrat administrations.

The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee is the largest Pro-Israel lobbying organization in the country. The conference is expected to gather over 18,000 supporters of Israel from around the Country.

St. Paul has spoken at previous AIPAC Conferences and traveled twice to Israel as part of a delegation responsible for AIPAC's minority outreach program in the United States.

"There are a few hundred Pro-Israel African-American activist from across the country and the numbers are growing," said St. Paul. "The group includes, elected officials, community organizers, attorneys, educators, and corporate leaders in multiple industries, as well as, students."

"This is my third Policy conference after coming back from Israel for a second time," he added.

What has impressed St. Paul most about his involvement with AIPAC is the diverse nature of Pro-Israel activists.

"The attendees come from many different ethnic and religious backgrounds," he said. "It's a reminder that regardless of our individual backgrounds and experiences we can unite as a powerful unified voice."

AIPAC recently named St. Paul to a second term on the AIPAC National Council, a position reserved for the organization's most active members. Participating in the National Council has given him a platform to lobby members of Congress on the need to strengthen U.S.-Israeli relations.

"Whether its building relationships with members of Congress and their staff or with their Democratic counterparts in Israel or thought leaders among the thousands of Pro-Israel activist here at home, these relationships allow all of us as human beings to move closer towards prosperity, peace and empowerment."
