New Rochelle-based café now represented by boutique public relations consulting firm Mélange de Bijoux.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY, Oct. 9, 2012 -- Since the spring of 2011, Lower Westchester residents searching for a cozy café that feels like home have found what they are looking for in R Patisserie Café & Tea Boutique. Starting this October, the New Rochelle-based coffeehouse will be represented by local PR consulting firm Mélange de Bijoux.
After opening their doors last April, R Patisserie has become a staple in downtown New Rochelle. Located at 302 Huguenot Street, the café is known for its charming European aesthetic, savory menu options, and welcoming staff.
The dedication of owners John Reverol and Jason Leonard has certainly paid off. The response to the local café in just a year has been terrific with press mentions in The New York Times and The Journal News. R Patisserie even counts Mayor Noam Bramson as a fan and has received an almost unheard of 5-star rating on customer review site Yelp.
“From the menu to the decor, we really wanted to make R Patisserie a place visitors instantly fall in love with,” says John Reverol. “As soon as they walk through the door we want R Patisserie to feel like their second home. This café is truly a community.”
The local eatery aims to please their customers’ taste buds with an assortment of French pastries courtesy of the renowned Balthazar Restaurant, fresh Nespresso coffee, and fragrant D. Botanical tea blends. Recently R Patisserie’s menu has grown to include a variety of freshly-prepared sandwiches and a plethora of ice cream and sorbet from Massachusetts-based SoCo Creamery.
R Patisserie also acts as a post with its range of artisan creations for sale. Currently customers can purchase products from vendors such as The Chocolate Alchemist. Since its opening, the café has incorporated the work of local contemporary artists into its decor. Each month R Patisserie features a different artist’s work on the café’s walls and hosts a reception to introduce each artist to the local community.
“Mélange de Bijoux’s consultants have always enjoyed the warm atmosphere of R Patisserie. You can’t help but feel welcome there so we are glad to now be representing them,” says Executive Consultant Rachel Wortherley.
In the coming months, Mélange de Bijoux hopes to generate new interest for R Patisserie within the local community and keep current customers excited about what’s to come for the local café.
