Rise Up and Speak Out at "Citizens to Be Heard" on Tuesday, April 9th @ 7:30 PM

April 05, 2013 - 13:23

Now is the time for you voice to be heard! We have seen the lack of respect towards the Veterans as the Mayor ordered the "confiscation" of the flag from two Veterans as they were folding it up. We have seen the manipulations of this administration game the system against the Veterans groups as he brought in his own team to compete against us in a gambit to refuse access to the planning process for the Armory. Well, the Veterans, The Flag , and our planned vision for the Armory is still here. You, our supporters are still here! If there's anyone who hasn't seen the presentation of our plan take a moment and click on the links below. You will see the plan that the Mayor and the majority of City Council refused to look at. (Only Lou Trangucci and Al Tarrantino thought found it important enough to take the time to show up.)
So Join us on April 9th at 7:30 in the city council chamber to voice your support. Tell those who have bought into the pipe dream of an open waterfront, overcrowded apartments, and an underfunded burden to our school taxes, that will benefit only the developer that this mayors plan just won't work.
The mayor is stealing our flags, our history and our future and it's going to cost you plenty. Don't let this happen.
