NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Rita M. Petrocelli a long time resident of Larchmont, NY passed away February 6, at Jacobi Hospital in The Bronx. Born in Brooklyn on January 18, 1927. She had a bachelor’s degree in fashion and worked as a fashion designer for the Lesley Fay Co. Later she was a teacher’s aide for 25 years at Mamaroneck High School.
She married Robert Petrocelli, Sr. in 1953 and moved to Larchmont in 1956 where she still resided. Rita was an active member of Sts. John & Paul Church. She and Bob were also members of Orienta Beach Club.
She is survived by her son Robert Jr, daughter in law Anne and grandson Christopher. Her Husband passed away in 2013.
Visiting is Monday 2-4 and 7-9 at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY. Mass Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Sts. John & Paul Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle 70 Portman Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801 would be appreciated.
