NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Salvatore Joseph Daniele, of New Rochelle, NY passed peacefully in his sleep Sunday evening, July 10, 2016 following complications resulting from a stroke. He was 84 years old. Sal was born in New Rochelle, NY on February 23, 1932, the son of the late Rafaella and Salvatore. He married Rosarina “Rose” Nocita in 1953 and had four children. A devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he spent a wonderful lifetime in New Rochelle. He co-owned and worked for many years at Tri-State Precision Grinding Corp. in Mt. Vernon. He was known for his incredible kindness, always-positive attitude, unforgettable smile and ability to make friends wherever he went. Everyone loved Sal. Even during his final days at the hospital, he always managed to smile. He spent a good part of his retirement years with his family and helping to care for his grandchildren. Family meant everything to him; he also loved his friends and his pasta. He is survived by his dear wife, Rose, sons Dominick and Frank, daughters Sally Anne and Lisa, daughters-in-law Theresa and Heidi, sons-in-law Kenn and Sean, grandchildren Kristofer, Dominick, Nicholas, Anthony, Jack and Scarlett as well as brother Frank, sister-in-law Rosemary, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 13, 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at N. Cancro Inc. Funeral Home, 104 Fourth Street, New Rochelle, NY, 914-632-7365. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 14, 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph Church, New Rochelle, NY.
