Wanted Assault Suspect Flips Car In New Rochelle

New Rochelle Police were looking for a suspect wanted in a Assault that occurred late Sunday evening in the west end of the city. Police were given information that the suspect lived in the area of Horton avenue.A officer on patrol spotted the suspect in a car on Lincoln Avenue around 11:30pm and started to follow the vehicle. The car then took off speeding up Webster Avenue the officer followed the car until it crashed and flipped over onto it's roof in the front lawn of 754 Webster Avenue.IMG 9792 A person was ejected from the vehicle it is unknown if the person who was ejected was the suspect as there was a second person found in or near the car. Police would not release any information at the scene. Two ambulances responded to the scene along with the New Rochelle fire department, The injuries to the people were unknown but both were taken to nearby hospitals.IMG 9802
Update-The passenger in the car has died from there injuried.
