NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The College of New Rochelle Women's Basketball team improved to 5-2 on the season with a convincing 67-41 victory over York College in non-conference action Saturday afternoon. CNR led from opening tip to the final whistle, handing York its 7th loss of the season (1-7).

The second quarter was slightly closer but still saw the Blue Angels outscore the Cardinals 15-9, extending their lead to 32-12 at the half. Despite a late attempt in the fourth quarter by York, CNR easily held off the Cardinals for the win.
