Play by Ruby Dee Can be seen this week

the_river_crosses_rivers_image.JPG.jpegThe Ensemble Studio Theatre production of The River Crosses Rivers includes a new (Series A) short play by New Rochelle resident, Ruby Dee. Two sets of seven plays by women playwriters of color include plays by Pulitzer winner Lynn Nottage and actress, Ruby Dee. Ruby Dee's play, The Step Mother, explored the emotions of an older woman and her step-daughter. The production is well worth seeing.

The schedule for the sets of seven plays can be found on the Ensemble Studio web site or by calling the theatre at 212-247-4982. Theatre is on 549 W. 52nd Street, 2nd floor. The plays run until September 27.
