New Rochelle Police Department vehicles began gathering close to the at around 9:00 AM at Holy Name on Petersville Road. They and others who knew and love him came to pay respects and bid a final farewell to retired Police Detective, Mario A. Giaccone. For many years after retirement Mario worked City School District as a Security Supervisor, first at New Rochelle High School and later at Isaac E. Young Middle School. Mario was one of the Good Guys. Our deepest condolences to Mario's family and loved ones.
