Did you know that you can bring your kids to tramp around the woods in New Rochelle? A part of the Colonial Greenway Trail is right behind the Pinebrook Tennis courts. There is ample free parking. These were taken on March 6th in the spring like weather. Leashed dogs are welcome. You follow the dots on the trees!
The trail does not go all the way around the lake. You can get to the stone building in the last photo and then turn back.

In an open letter to New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, Martin Sanchez calls the proposed move of the DPW Yard to the West End a failure of environmental justice.
Martin Sanchez is an attorney, businessman, and community leader. Sanchez previously served on the New Rochelle Board of Education and has been an outspoken voice for New Rochelle's Latino Community.
