Happy Birthday: U.S.A.

OK. Technically, the United State of America was not "born" until March 4, 1789 when the federal government under the Constitution began operations after a 9th state (New Hampshire) ratified the Constitution which had been completed on September 17, 1787 at the Constitutional Convention. But who wants to have a cookout in the first week of March.

It is worth noting this especially because too many people fail to recall that it took Americans almost 13 years to go from the declaring independence to achieving the creation of our current system of government with a war and several rebellions along the way.
